There are many myths around natural stone floors, indicating that they are high maintenance and need a lot of care to ensure that they last and remain in good condition.  We would like to tell you that this is not the case; natural stone flooring is one of the most durable floor surfaces that you can choose and requires little maintenance other than a general clean.  For example, limestone floors, which are made of a ‘soft’ stone, can be mopped with a general natural stone soap and left to dry as you would with any tiled floor.
