Are Future Stone and Natural Stone floors suitable for Under Floor Heating?
YES... all material we supply are suitable for use with Under Floor Heating, but a flexible adhesive and Grout should always be used. During installation we recommend that the Under Floor Heating is switched off. After installation the heating should be raised by a few degrees per day in line with the manufactures guides.

Can CERAMICA & STONE supply an installation team?
Yes of course, we have our own exclusive installation teams which work in partnership with our in house project managers to ensure that the highest quality is maintained throughout your project. In many cases our clients builders have their own fixers or competent traded person on hand that can carry out the work. It really depends on the project, however the majority of our products can be installed by a competent trades person. In all cases we can supply method statements are available on request.

Can Natural Stone or Future Stone be installed on a timber based sub-floor?
Yes... There are several proven methods that we recommend depending on the type and condition of timber floor. In all cases a flexible adhesive such as Mapei Keraquick with Latex Plus admix should be used. A flexible grout must also be used, we recommend Mapei Ultra Colour grout. Professional advice is available from our technical team who can give the best advice based on your particular project.

How often will my stone require re-sealing?
Once sealed with a high quality sealer the stone will not require re-sealing for many years, as long as the correct cleaning products are used. However if the wrong cleaners are used this may shorten the life of the sealer. Easy Polish top dressing can be applied and re-applied as desired, but in most cases will only need re-application every 9 - 12 months depending on the level of shire desired.

Will my floor or wall tiles require sealing when they are being installed?
In the case of NATURAL STONE we say YES... With very few exceptions all natural stone require sealing on installation. We recommend our own Easy Block for materials like Limestone, Travertine and Sandstone. For polished Marbles and Granites we recommend Lithofin MN Stain Stop. Our Future Stone and Future Marble products never require sealing as they are impervious to staining. On most internal dry use areas of natural stone Easy Polish can be applied if a satin or gloss finish is desired. Our exclusive range of Future Stone never requires sealing or polishing.
