Intrusive magmatic rocks formed mainly by alkaline feldspars and quartz constitute the family of granites.

Granites are divided into two groups: Veined and Non Veined.
Veined Granites are those within which the minerals form strips of colour different from the background colour.

Non Veined materials, in contrast present the same appearance over the entire surface of the slab.
